
Inflation in Poland stood at 1.5 percent year-on-year in June, falling 0.2 percent from May, the country’s Central Statistical Office (GUS) said in a flash estimate on Friday.
Economists approached by the PAP news agency had expected prices of goods and services to increase 1.7 percent year-on-year and to remain unchanged from May.
The statistics office said the final figures for this month would be released on 11 July.
Inflation in May stood at 1.9 percent year-on-year, according to the Central Statistical Office.
