Polish post offices accept Visa, Mastercard

State-run postal group Poczta Polska says customers can now use Visa and Mastercard to make payments at over 4,600 post offices across Poland. Poczta Polska says that the launch of card payments fits into a government programme supporting a digital and cashless economy.

Cashless payments also mean “easier and faster service, which will be particularly important” during the pre-Christmas period, Poczta Polska said in a statement.
